1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using AI Resume Rewrite ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
AI Resume Rewrite is an AI-powered resume tailoring service that helps job seekers optimise their resumes for specific job descriptions. The Service includes:
- Uploading and parsing of resume documents.
- AI-generated content rewriting to align your resume with a job description.
- Keyword optimisation to improve compatibility with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Download of the tailored resume as a Word document.
3. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to rewrite and optimise your resume content. By using the Service, you understand and accept the following:
- Review required: AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing all output before submitting it to any employer.
- No accuracy guarantee: We make no guarantee that AI-generated content is factually correct or will improve your job application outcomes.
- No employment guarantee: We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment of any kind.
- Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content in your resume is truthful and accurate. The Service will not add fabricated qualifications, experience, or skills — but you must verify the final output.
4. User accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
- Notify us immediately at hello@airesumerewrite.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Subscription and billing
The Service offers both a free tier and a paid Pro subscription:
- Free tier: Includes 2 resume rewrites at no cost. No credit card is required to access the free tier.
- Pro subscription: Provides unlimited rewrites for a monthly fee. Pricing is displayed on our Pricing page.
- Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for the current billing period.
6. Your content and intellectual property
You retain full ownership of the personal data, resumes, job descriptions, and other documents you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant AI Resume Rewrite a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not use your resume content to train AI models, sell your data to third parties, or share your content with employers.
7. Data processing and third-party services
To deliver the Service, your resume content and job description are transmitted to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) for processing. By using the Service, you consent to this transmission. These providers are bound by their own data processing agreements.

8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create resumes containing knowingly false qualifications, experience, or credentials.
- Engage in any unlawful activity or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code of the Service.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Service.
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI RESUME REWRITE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Resume Rewrite and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Service; the content you submit; your violation of these Terms; or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately.

13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
